Really? Sent to Hell?
A loving God would definitely not 'send' anyone to Hell. In designing us with free will, however, He has given us options.

So the choice is yours to make...

No one is 'sent' to Hell. God has designed us as free moral agents and has allowed us to make our own choices. He cannot make us love Him. He will not force us to spend eternity with Him if we do not wish to.

If Heaven were mandatory, how could that be free will? Sorry, Satan worshippers... sorry, people with zero desire to know God... sorry, confirmed atheists... you're stuck in Heaven, with the God you have no interest in (and possibly actively hate), forever.

The punishment of Hell is eternal separation from the God of the universe. It is in knowing that you had the opportunity for a relationship with Him, but you discarded it without much, if any, consideration. Or, that you had considered it, but had determined that something else was more important.

One of the worst tortures that we subject ourselves to in this life is the 'what if' or 'if only', as we agonize over decisions made or opportunities missed. How much more painful, if those decisions were irrevocable and had permanently cemented our future, as opposed to merely shaping it?

He offers a clear choice. He is bluntly honest about the options. When we get where we're going, it will be what we asked for.
